February 2025 Message from the Editors
Feb 04, 2025Welcome! Thank you for reading the Effective Cannabis Newsletter. Cannabis Health Coaches and Educators created this newsletter to inform you about how Cannabis works in the body. Each newsletter is carefully curated and has a specific theme that changes with every newsletter. For example, our next issue, March 2025, is about Women's Health and Cannabis.
The key to success with medical Cannabis is knowing how to address health and wellness challenges effectively. This journey begins with getting educated so you can speak to your doctor and lawmakers about Cannabis.
Your insights are invaluable in helping us pinpoint the Cannabis education resources people truly need. By taking just 6 to 8 minutes to complete our survey, you’ll directly contribute to a future where reliable and accessible Cannabis information is within reach for everyone. Thank you for being a part of this critical effort!
We invite you to share your personal health story with Cannabis. Your experiences are vital in demonstrating the positive impact that Cannabis can have on health and quality of life. By answering a set of thoughtfully designed questions, you can help us capture your unique journey. We will then craft your story into a blog post and send it back to you for review and approval. If you're satisfied with the final version, it will be featured in the Effective Cannabis Newsletter. This is an opportunity to contribute to a growing body of testimonials that highlight the benefits of Cannabis. To share your story, start here.

Recruitment for Two Important Research Studies
Since our inception, the Effective Cannabis Newsletter (ECN) has been dedicated to championing real-world data and evidence-based research to educate and lead in the Cannabis field.
We invite you to take part!
First, we’re collaborating with the Network of Applied Pharmacognosy (NAP) to gather valuable real-world data and insights. This study highlights the significance of lived experiences in deepening our understanding of Cannabis. Your insights can substantially contribute to this vital research, and we encourage you to share your journey with us.
Additionally, we are thrilled to invite you to participate in a separate study focused on the use of Cannabis for symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This study is being conducted in partnership with the Connor Sheffield Foundation and Tetragram. Your experiences can help illuminate the benefits and challenges of using Cannabis as a treatment option for PTSD.
To get involved in either study, please look for the sign-up information on the right-hand side of this page and every blog page. Your voice matters, and together, we can create a meaningful impact in Cannabis research!
We work hard to bring accurate, vetted, timely information to the public. This newsletter is not medical advice but can help you understand how to communicate your health goals.
The content in this newsletter is by certified Cannabis Health Coaches, Educators, or Medical Professionals (and the occasional well-written piece by a journalist). Most of them have also had their own experience with medical Cannabis. One of the fastest ways to progress with a medical Cannabis approach is to work with a professional who can support you in identifying your ideal consumption method and dosing. They will also educate you about how Cannabis works in your body and help you look at all the factors you should consider with a medical Cannabis approach.
