Tribute to Corrie Yelland: A Cannabis Warrior and Beacon of Hope
Apr 01, 2025
With deep respect and gratitude, we honor the life and legacy of Corrie Yelland, a true pioneer in the world of Cannabis for cancer treatment. Corrie’s journey was one of incredible resilience, courage, and an unwavering commitment to helping others find relief and hope through the healing power of Cannabis.
In 2011, Corrie was diagnosed with cancer and given just 2-4 months to live. Faced with this grim prognosis, she made the bold decision to forgo conventional radiation treatment and instead turn to Cannabis oil. Defying all odds, she became cancer-free and lived many more years, dedicating her life to learning, advocating, and supporting others on similar paths.
Her passion for education and patient advocacy led her to co-found Cannabis Health Radio with Ian Jessop, where they interviewed hundreds of medical Cannabis patients, amplifying their voices and sharing their powerful stories of healing. These stories have served as invaluable resources for the Effective Cannabis Newsletter and have touched the lives of countless individuals seeking alternative treatments.
Corrie Yelland’s impact is immeasurable. She was a force of nature, a beacon of hope, and a warrior for Cannabis education and patient empowerment. We are deeply grateful for her contributions to this field and for the legacy she leaves behind—a legacy of courage, knowledge, and compassion that will continue to inspire and guide us all.
Rest in power, Corrie. Your work lives on.
